Huge public meeting in Woodford launches campaign
26 October More than 700 people crammed into Hawkey Hall, Woodford, on Thursday 26 October to hear doctors, patients and politicians condemn the threat to Whipps Cross.
It was the largest local meeting on health anyone could recall, and provided the launching pad for the Save Whipps Cross Hospital Campaign.
